“Ethical fashion is the recognition that there are human beings behind the clothes we wear”. - Elizabeth Joy

Ethical and sustainable working conditions are a must at Aleigha The Label. To accomplish this, we work with a small family-owned business and have hand selected our makers very carefully to make sure that their practices align with the core values that we hold as a brand. We have visited our makers and witnessed their daily operations and created relationships with our makers which has allowed us to have full transparency on all aspects of the garment production. We work very close with our makers to ensure the following standards are always upheld.

  • No child, underage or forced labour
  • No harassment, abuse, or discrimination
  • Fair payment of a living wage
  • Reasonable hours of work
  • Support and respect for community values and religious attendance
  • Women’s rights observed
  • Ethical workplace codes of conduct
  • Keeping artesian culture alive
  • Reduce, reuse, and recycle
  • Plastic free production
  • Safe working environment
  • Equal opportunities observed

At Aleigha The Label we value the importance of family and beliefs, that is why we make it a priority that all our makers enjoy public and religious holidays off work.

“Every woman’s success should be an inspiration to another. Were STRONGEST when we cheer each other on”. – Serena Williams

Our clothing is designed by strong women, produced by strong women, and worn by strong women. We are the epitome of clothes made to empower.

We know and understand just how special, powerful, and divine women are. And because of this we are dedicated to making sure our makers are respected and valued or their unique qualities. We are determined to create a beautiful community of strong women from our makers to our customers. We want everyone to not only feel beautiful on the outside with our garments but also the inside.
